Tools
Here is a list of useful tools if you want to run old software on your brand new machine :
- DosBox, we don't need to present it now (free) ;
- VDMSound, let you emulate an old SB card in a DOS shell (free) ;
- SoundFX 2000, a great SB emulator for the DOS 16-bit applications (shareware)
- dgVoodoo, an emulator for the glide system (old 3D graphic system) (free) ;
- PKZIP, the tool to open ZIP files under DOS (shareware) ;
- VMware, let you emulate a complete machine (commercial) ;
- VirtualBox, same as VMware but free
